It's widely popular for it's Ruby On Rails framework which is used in Backend web development.

NodeJs and ReactJs, or Angular if you prefer! But this is something will last for a long time around, especially cause of React Native and React Native Os x projects. This is only my opinion, Ruby seems to be passed.
