many people would recomend python to start, it depends on what you might want. Javascript is very good to start as well

Think about why you want to learn programming.
for example i would recomend:
- web dev: php, js, html, css
- bigger games: c++
- android apps: java

after you know what you want take a course here on the page and start a small project. the best way after a tutorial is to code, because thats the way you increase your skills.
try to fix as much bugs as you can on your own, but dont be afraid to ask before you lose interest in this project
