Can we add html element using python flask?

Question

I am practicing flask. I want to add a <p> tag in my html page using flask. Is it possible?
I know we can add it like this :-
In html page:
<p> {{msg}} </p>
In flask app:
@app.route('/html', msg = 'hello')

But I don't want to do this. I want to add that along with <p> tag using flask
