What's the best app for making code programs

For PCs I prefer PyCharm, VSCode and for mobile Pydroid3, TrebEdit
But for online editors, I really haven't looked much.

It depends on the language you are using. I use VS Code for most anything, especially web programming. I use JetBrains for Java. For Linux configuration files I use vi.
