It's like chemistry and physics, kind of related but not really. You don't need maths for programming.

You will have some maths courses in your curriculum but not many. Also you'll find university maths is quite different from high school maths, if you like solving problems it can be pretty fun.

After uni you'll likely never touch maths again.
