Depends of the needs your program have to implement
Ones are better for math operations, others to build drivers, faster...
And other... if you have and opinionated/typed language or not
- C and Java are strong typed
- Node with Js Vanilla don't but using Typescript are typed.

There are also couple of frameworks like Django and Flask which commonly used for backend.
