Code playground not working

Question

I'm making this new code, and everything goes okay. However at some point, the code just doesn't execute anymore, remaining as it was in some fixed previous execution. What could have led to this?

Maybe check my code and see if something could be causing it. Pretty sure it is a code playground bug more than a coding mistake.
