Code playground

Question

I am not able to save fresh codes which I am writing in the code playground. I recently installed Ubuntu, is there any connection. ? How can I fix this .? I have tried running this website on google chrome as well as fire-fox. Please help !!

I use Ubuntu (as well as both of the browsers you mentioned). I can safely say that since you're able to connect to the Internet on the new OS, it's not likely a Ubuntu issue. It's most likely a connection issue, as others have said.
For me, the time of day can be relatively consistent. The extreme server lag usually happens at a time that roughly corresponds with the end of the workday in India (which is before dawn for me). Occasional server lag happens during other times of day as well, but it doesn't feel as much like a sudden halt. This also happens in the mobile app.
The only other thing I can think of is if your ISP is blocking the traffic for some reason, but that seems like a stretch.

Sometimes servers on sololearn is busy and everyone have trouble to save code, make sure you save part by part, dont write long code, or just before saving copy full code to dont lose hard work. Happy coding 😊

It didn’t even work with hello world. But I was able to save a code in cpp once after this problem started and now I am struck with it.
