Which is the most difficult programming language to begin with?

Probably Assembly. The modern languages, including C++, are all relatively easy.

I learned C++ first and it made learning all of the other languages insanely easy to do. There is no right choice as your first language, so go with whichever one compliments your goals and/or you find the most interest in personally.
