[OFF-TOPIC] What would you bring in, if you were to join a startup team?

I have been rejected from a couple and I have rejected a couple also, but I am am curious to what would you bring in? This is very close to my heart, because I am trying my hardest to get a business going, but no luck so far. This is not a job interview, unless you and I decide so. I have a dream, but how's yours?

If you only knew how many people with many ideas I get approached by. 🤣 Currently, the best I could do is give advice. However, most of my advice to would-be-entrepreneurs are a bit too much reality for most to handle.

Hi Ora... Interesting question you've posted. For me, I would bring an insane amount of experience as a veteran full stack multi platform software developer who has raised over a million dollars in seed capital from angel investors for a product startup I founded back in 2007. But that's a story for another day. 😉 I've also been the principal architect for a consulting firm that specialized in startups. My role was to get proof of concept prototypes completed in a short time for market validation after the initial seed capital was secured. I've since switched to a great company where I lead a product development team today.

Nice! I've got a brood of 5 kids myself. Never a dull moment. I can catch up with you later. It's almost 3:30am here in the U.S. and I've got to be up in 4 hours. Also, feel free to track me down on the SoloLearn DiscordApp account. I need to dig up the link up for you. We can chat in private there if you'd like.

Actually the talkative part doesn't surprise me as many who drive trucks or busses usually have plenty of time to cultivate inspiration. Thanks for the compliments, to much experience compared to most IMO - LOL By the way, nice to meet you Mr. Ora Huhti

It depends on the objectives of the group. I could assess your system(s) vulnerability probabilities, and find possible root flaws in your internal network architecture. There isn't much information about your "group" here though.

By the way, I'm happy that I wrote this question, because my biggest hurdle have been not being able to write/talk to developers

What is your most prominent idea for the startup? To add some controversy to the following, I think it is not wrong to pursue multiple business ideas all together. I'm studying here on SoloLearn, because I am after a profile based app. I have ideas for a dating app, language studying app, coding app... I can't recall the rest right now...

@robertbrownfarley now that's impressive, and I just begun to follow you in linkedin. (I'm Mr Ora Huhti there) And you got a new admirer from me now. Especially as I interpret your reply above quite a nice one and it's not that usual to see among developer's discussions. I'm a bus driver and I keep thriving towards the best customer service as I can there. And I want from myself to answer to anyone here as fast as I can and with a level of respect. Though I am not a good writer, because I tend to write too much and full of info. It has often been seen as angry, which I'm never. I just have so much to say Would you believe that I am a very talkative person in real life?

@davidcarroll I think I am quite tough I have a temperamental wife and 3 little boys who keep me at my toes 99 % of the time. So any reality checks are probably old news to me
