How do I create buttons that make whatever is currently on a screen disappear and something new display?

Question

I have three button called Html, Css, and JavaScript. When a button is pressed I want it to display text that has the same id as it and when I click another button I want the previous text to disappear to display the new text for the new button that is pressed. Anyone know how to achieve this?
