Python is an interpreted, interactive, object-oriented programming language. It incorporates modules, exceptions, dynamic typing, very high level dynamic data types, and classes. Python combines remarkable power with very clear syntax. It has interfaces to many system calls and libraries, as well as to various window systems, and is extensible in C or C++. It is also usable as an extension language for applications that need a programmable interface. Finally, Python is portable: it runs on many Unix variants, on the Mac, and on Windows 2000 and later. Python is a high-level programming language, with applications in numerous areas, including web programming, scripting, scientific computing, and artificial intelligence. It is very popular and used by organizations such as Google, NASA, the CIA, and Disney. https://www.sololearn.com/learn/Python/2269/?ref=app Here are a lot of examples of using Python: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Python_software?wprov=sfla1 https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/914940/?ref=app

It depends on you. Python is the most popular language in 2018. Java is a platform-independent and versatile language.

It's is totally depends on your first option because both languages have power of oops . So after learning C language ,you should go for directly to Python because of it's simple syntax. And if you choose java that's ok but you have to put more effort to learn that. Finally my suggestion is for learning , in simple way Python is best. But if you want to explore to many framework and app development,go for java. Read Here: - http://crbtech.in/Java-Training/learning-java-will-provide-lurcrative-career/
