Can a person learn too many languages?

I really enjoy the challenges of learning every language, but I also gets a bit confusing. I love VBA, C# and SQL but when thinking of creating apps for Android or iOS.. it seems like it's not the best platform.

There are many programmers who know and are very proficient in many languages, but that comes mainly from their experience and the years they have invested in it. In any case, it is much better to focus on an area that you enjoy and start learning the languages that are useful for your purpose. If you feel that these tools are not the best for you, you can look for resources with what you feel most comfortable with. PS: You can develop cross-platform applications with C#. You should look for things like Xamarin.

Only learn the languages necessary for that development.

The most important thing is not to learn programming language, but to learn concepts of programming. Language is just means.
