Should I learn ruby or php

I want to be able to build a website like solo learn, so which language will be of more help??? Ruby(on rails) or php(laravel) ???

There is nothing more you can do with php in terms of smooth coding where I think ruby is fun. Php is great when you have enough knowledge about servers.
