[OFF-TOPIC] Disappointed!!

I've realized that Sololearn is helpful when you have prior knowledge of the program you're learning, it helps to reinforce the informations! I'm almost done with JavaScript and I can't write a single right function, It's too hard to understand. But it was smooth with html and CSS because I've done some video courses before. I use sololearn as a reference when I forget an attribute or something like that! what do you think?

If you find JS too hard then keep practicing. Start from simple things. HTML and CSS are really very easy. When you practice it, it automatically goes into your head. But, js is not about learning all the attributes. You will have to go slowly learning one thing at a time and then practicing it. Learn from the errors that it gives. Find why doesn't it work. This will increase your experience and you will find JS easy.

It may be different with most people as I found the courses to be pretty helpful and it really helped me with learning the languages. I will admit that some areas were a little vague and probably could've given more information in all of the languages, but for the most part it explained it pretty well for me to understand.

I agree, lessons are short and to the point, I felt like you at the first time, because I cd have an idea about what is going to be introduced in that particular area. But when it comes to new things...I bug. What I mean is if u know even a little about programing with any other language before, you'll feel like it's amainzingly done. Otherwise you just realize that you need more clarifications and examples...still think that it's a great app though.

all those sort of courses are good only to learn a little bit about syntax. You won't learn nothing special from it, just some concept, how something work and to see difference from your primary language and that is all. But you can use for other stuff. i.g. there are a lot of people which can make great codes (i dunno do they copy paste but probably here are many great developers and i am really suprised whay they can make it, i do not know what are they doing here in my opinion i won't spent 30min here i will go to earn the money) and learn sometning from them, many great disqusions (but many spam posts too) etc. Just look around and you will find sometning useful. challenges are interesting for short time. Questions are sometimes hard, sometimes confused and sometimes are easy. it can be intersted but still you won't learn to code from challenge. anyway this is the only one app with big community which is popular and developers work on it to improve. On Play you can download apps only with some interview questions or some copy/paste text for some language.

Feel free to use the feedback feature in the top-right corner of your main screen (the three dots offer a menu). It will email SoloLearn and you can inform them directly.

@CipherFox : it wasn't actually a feedback, still think that SoloLearn is a good App, and I didn't find anything wrong with the App nor the content..what's great here is the ability to interact with the others and see what they're doing to learn.

i have an idea don't go fast around the lessons take your time , it is not only about finishing the courses but it also about how much time you spend in programming or practice ..good luck bro ☺

SoloLearn is also meant only for writing codes. It therefore makes no sense to use this app as a new entry into programming. One comes here only with experience!
