If i was given an option to learn C++ or C which one should o choose and why?

If I were you, I would start with C first then on to C++, why?, from what I see those who has C background find it easier to adapt C++ from the syntax similarities, plus having better understanding of under the hood things. But if I were to choose one rather, I'd go C++ because it has built-in support for OOP, meta programming, etc. and yet still can do things C code can do. Just my personal opinion, and for the record, I am a C++ noob, so, pardon if there's a faulty understanding from my side : )

if the choice is between c and c++ then you should choose c++. c++ is the advanced version of c.c++ supports object oriented programming which is the greatest reason for choosing c++.it supports Standard Template Library as well. c++ is one of the most used programming languages today. if you know c++ then you already know c but if you know c then it doesn't mean that you know c++ as well.
