I agree with @AhriFox that if ruby is easier for you. you should go for Ruby.
The Ruby is a general-purposed programming language like python and has a web framework Ruby on Rails that's why ruby is popular.
I also thinks that ruby is easier than python. Before Ruby ,I completed Python and going to ruby looks like it is more easier.

Either python or HTML, in my opinion.
