Adding local image to webpage
How can I add an image to a web page which is saved in the computer?
Just upload it to one of those free pic hosting sites and use the link generated from that. I don't know what you kids are using these days, but I think http://tinypic.com/ use to be one of the free hosting. Don't quote me on that, it's been years.
As I said, you'll have to upload and host the image. SoloLearn's editor is on their server, not on your local machine. Since SoloLearn's server isn't allowed to access your local storage like that, you'll want to reference the image as an external site and use the URL from the free hosting. Takes 2 secs to upload a pic and get the link.
<img src="path/to/image.png" alt="Image didnt load" width="640" height="480" />
Jacob Marley, is there any other way?
Just put the path of your image as a url
I have done that but it's not happening. I have copied the whole path. But nothing happened.
I am writing my code in notepad ++ and testing it in IE11, so is the way same for that also?
