What languages have you learned?
I'm asking this to get more in depth advice. Please name them from the first to the last chronologically. Also, why did you chose to learn them in that order? Do you feel happy with your decisions? Have you used your skills to help someone(or yourself)? If you could have made something different, what would it be? Feel free to add any additional information. I'm a beginner and I want to make sure I take the right decisions. Thanks in advance.

If Iâm being true to what I learned, itâs this:
-HTML
-CSS
-jQuery
-Swift
-Ruby
As for the languages Iâve picked up in my life:
-Python
-JavaScript
-Java
-C#
-PHP
And a whole bunch of other languages that arenât taught on Sololearn.
As for what I learned by choice, I learned that because I liked creating things.
As for what Iâve picked up, I learned them to better my life.
I am very happy with my decisions.
I have used my skills to help lots of people, along with myself. I still am.
If I had made something different, I wouldâve learned all I have learned by choice and earlier.
Thatâs my languages choices. But if you are wondering what to do, then I recommend looking at what YOU want to do with your skills.

@luciel Thank you for the detailed answer. It's nice that the languages you picked up in your life are the ones I want to learn the most. As for what I want to do is creating my own apps, creating a family blog and ultimately join communities of great programmers to increase my knowledge. Everyone has to start somewhere, right? And I feel like this is the proper place to do so. Once again, thank you.

Thanks! Sure I will. It's going to take some time though, but as soon as I get a project you'll be from the first ones to test it. Happy Coding!

Of course. As for what you want to do, hereâs what I recommend you learn thatâs available at Sololearn:
-Apps: Java (Android), Swift (iOS)
-Family Blog: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery (JavaScript and jQuery arenât really necessary. You can create great sites with HTML and CSS alone).
-Joining a great community: Youâve reached the place! Sololearn has a lot of talented developers and itâs great for when you have questions. If you want to join additional programming communities, here are some other ones:
-freeCodeCamp
-Stack Overflow
Those two are the best I can think of that cover all languages. If you want to join a community focused on a specific aspect of coding or a specific programming language, I recommend searching a discord server list for what youâre looking for. There, you can find people who want to learn and who are specialized in what youâre looking for.
I recommend using this service for looking for a server to meet your needs: https://discord.me
If you donât have Discord, you can get it here (itâs free!): https://discordapp.com
