not that it's not hard at all, it' even so much fun!
in fact, to get the idea of how a program interfaces with the hardware and how to code you should learn c++, believe me, it will help you a lot.
by the way, program languages might be different but they all act in a pretty much the same way so learning a popular one will help you a lot on learning the others and also there are so many languages that are based on c language so learning the c++ has so many benefits for you.

actually at first yes it's adding and subtraction but remember computers do all their stuff by only adding and subtracting, btw go on YouTube and search "c++ tutorial " you will find useful playlists, go on and whatch them
if you ask me all the c++ can be perfectly taught in only a month so stop panicking and start learning and practicing don't be afraid of mistakes the more you mess up the more you learn.
sololearn by the way is a great starting point too, use it. also use YouTube it's great.
