The real question could be what you really mean by that? If you think that html or python could become irrelevants or dissapear in the near future, no worries, you'll still have both.

If it's about the importance or trends and adoption, then only future will tell. The good thing is what can we do "now", whatever the language or marckup and kee un eye on what's coming next.
