Brother sorry but your info about C++ and C# is wrong. C# is not the older version of C++. It is the newest among both C and C++ C++ is used for making game engines like unity. But you want to be a game developer you should use a Gaming Engine like Unity or Unreal. And they both support C++ and C#. But it looks like you are a beginner in programming So I suggest you to use C# rather than C++ with these gaming engines. Because it is easy to learn. Also C# is platform independent . And in future when you would have found that game programming is made for you then you should move on to C++. Because C++ have large number of libraries. But Just don't start with C++ because C# is more easier and faster to learn than C++. C# isn't old version of C++.... Both languages are relevant today, and both are useful for gaming. Personally, I'd go with either of the two giants in the industry. They're amazing engines and good experience if you ever wanted to get hired on somewhere. Good deal on using the engines for indie developers also.
