It really depends on the type of program you want to create. When it comes to stuff like software or game development, I would say that C# would be better based on how if handles those types of codes. When it comes down to more scientific and research fields, Python would definitely be better mainly because of its extensive amount of libraries which allow for a wider functionality for it.
