Java saves CPU time, Python saves the programmer’s time. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

The answer is case-dependent i.e it depends on the person. I like Java because it is the only language I use in real life. Plus , Java is quite versatile and is quite effective in most coding senarios. However , like @jax remarked, if you are a beginner then its better to start with python. Its true that most big companies reqruit Java programmers but in the recent times, Phthon has also emerged as a good choice for developers. The choice is YOURS !!! https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/555015/?ref=app

Java is better in my opinion because it is hard to get a job working in python but python can be learned much faster than java so it depends. If you are under 16 I would start with python but if you are older java could lead to a job. Python helps you grasp programming though and you can learn java later
