AI artificial intelligence

Question

Does anybody have some tips for an AI(artificial intelligence) program? I tried once before and failed horribly so I hope someone can help me. Tips can be anything from bits of code to suggestions on what it should do. I’m also not sure what an AI is supposed to do. My first one talked to you but there has to be more to it than that. I prefer python because my JavaScript skills are terribly lacking.
