Artificial intelligence borrows a lot from how our brains work. Your brain works using billions of specialized cells called neurons. These neurons have connections with each other through connection points called synapses. Neurotransmitters (chemical messagangers) are then used to transmit messages from neuron to neuron. When you see the number 3 for example, specific neurons are fired and a distinct neural connection allows your brain to interpret the number 3. Today artificial intelligence uses neural networks that work primarily the same way. The network will have 3 main parts/layers. The input layer, the hidden layer and the output layer. Without complicating it , it uses reinforcement learning through repeating the same thing and reducing the error margin with every iteration using special functions. https://youtu.be/aircAruvnKk
