In order to stay motivated and encouraged in the field of programming, one must have strong dedication, and know the payoff!

Programmers hold A TON of power in their hands. I've said plenty of times, programmers have, and can change the way the world works. This is what keeps me motivated in programming; knowing the power we all hold!

One must also be sure to keep focus on their studies, by practicing and staying in tune to their lessons. Even revisit some if needed!
