How to help Photoshop in web design

I can't understand the Photoshop role in web design.how can i add Photoshop project in code.plzz anyone tell... sorry for bad English

PSD ( Photoshop document ) files sometimes can be used for designing a website. A designer creates website's layout and components in PS and then a front-end developer ( maybe the designer him/her self ) convert it to code! Many people just use this approach for practicing.
