What about Perl?

Question

Is it still worth having a closer look at Perl and learn?
Or are Python and Ruby doing the Job now?
From the online resources point of few it looks a bit like that to me.

perl is a must for linux admins; also unix base management requires perl knowledge

i suggest for anyone who interest in linux and hosting on it
