Without degree job

Can i get backend developer job without a degree and is js is good language to start? Sorry for the bad english

Yeah it's pretty feasible cuz all that matters in end is not degree but skills.

But yeah the skills should be strong enough to actually leave behind the ppls with degree.

Realistically speaking with no butter ups,
It's really hard cause ppls need proof. So obviously degree is what provides a little help by backing your background.

Hence, I guess you can land a job without degree but yeah you need to be skilled and have strong projects, overall a good profile as a coder.

I would recommend you reading more stuffs online and doing research cause you don't have a proper way to shape ideas(cause you don't have guidance, a guess just cause U asked this question).
So yeah read stuffs online too, not one but many then draw your conclusion.
