How i can learn django framwork

Question

i am a frontend developer i know html and css and js the problem is i want to learn backend because i want to build a membership site i know python basics but idk django i feel it's a bit tricky should I start my project and learn as i go or should I learn with simpler projects till i get to point where I know the basics of django .

Try codecademy.com - it has a really appealing course, Try Django by Dr. Sarah Holderness. It's quite cool with quizzes and try-it-yourselfs after every lesson.

Good for grasping the basics on how Django works in the first place.
