Try developer.android.com. It has documentation, tools, a downloadable developer kit and learning material. All from the creators of Android; It is your primary source for all things Android. It may be a bit overwhelming, but persist and you will prevail.

Google provides great online documentation site for writing native (Java+XML) Android apps. Android Studio got visual designer and that is all what you need. And StackOverflow of course :)
