What need people learn to be data miner?

I don't know nothing about data mining, but I heard a much about it, and I found it interesting, so help me please! Wich part of Mathematic is important, an wich proramming languages need learn? Is there a good website, or book for peuple who interesting about it?

Linear algebra, probabilistics and statistics are quite handy here. Of programming languages - Python or R. Of tools - Jupyter Notebook or RStudio, respectively.
