what are the best programs, tools, or types of coding i should focus on if i am trying to pursue console game developer

i was just wondering what i should focus on to create video games.. i am talkjng everything from coding to graphics to the fame engine.. preferably the mmorpg/network connection games (destiny, borderlands, elder scrolls, etc.)
