Can someone explain me how a capacitor is charged in a circuit consisting of a capacitor and a batterY WITHOUT RESISTOR?

most people tell that positive charges & negative charges are released from battery. I think that how positive charges or protons are moving in circuit as they lie inside nucleus. WANTING A QUICK & CORRECT ANSWER FROM A PERSON WHO HAVE GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF PHYSICS . IT HAS BEEN IN MIND FOR 1 WEEK. PLEASE!!!!!!!!! help me
