Tracking progress of my class.

Question

I was thinking of using Solo Learn to teach a class. Is it possible to track a the progress of a group of students. This is a volunteer project so cost has to be zero.

best thing I can think of is just logging their current progress to a database daily by checking their profiles or talking to them, you could get them to write it down like David Harold: Functions 5/10
or you could setup a local site in which they can enter their progress and add notes with questions.
