What is the difference between(ol)and(ul)?

in ordered list html we can use both ol and ul but I can't know ed the difference between them!

Depends if you want your bullet point to be numbers, letters or another ordered structure or not - and you are okay with just circles or squares.

<ol> is for ordered lists. That is lists that are numbered or lettered in sequence (ordered). <ul> is for unordered lists. That is lists that are not numbered but may begin with a bullet.
