Game development or programming??

I am utterly confused and so would like for some help, talking about game development, I think I shall start with unity!? Or should I just code and make programmes rather than games? NYO (Need Your Opinion).

Nope! First start with making basic programs like something called a pattern generator, calculator etc. Now when you're done with this(or mastered the basics), it's time to start with the game development :) Start with some easy ones! IDK much about C# so I'm unable to tell you a better and easier resource but you can Google it for sure :D Unity is also cool though... P.S. Start with the basics!

No, unity is great for beginners but it all depends on your choice. A great alternative : Unreal Engine.

I want to be a doctor. Should i start with practical surgery or better to learn anathomy first? Of course you should learn the basics anyway. Information about working with Unity will be useless to you if you have no idea how it all works. Without good knowledge of core language it is a big problem to create something more complicated than a primitive console application.

#CRYPTONaXE @Dayve and @Jeth are saying. Learn how to use C# before you make a game. If you want try unity that is still a way to learn.

So in simpler words, first master programming and then aim for game making
