Is C++ a good start to know things?

Hi everyone. So I got bored today and decided to download this and it's pretty cool. What came to my mind was maybe I can make an android game or something. Anyway, I dont have any knowledge of programming language so would C++ be a good start for me then learn java to make a game?

I'm gonna be honest with you and say it's going to take a while for you to make a game all on your own. Obviously you have to pass and full understand all the basics of the language (even further than what this app offers), but you'd then have to include, learn and play around with any libaries that you may need to create the game you want. C++ and Java are both object orientated language, and put it this way, if you can and did learn C++, you'd learn Java very quicky due to how similar to concepts are. In terms of difficulty, you'd likely find C++ a bit more difficult to get your head around, but start with whichever one you like. Do some research on the web of the uses and creations of each and see what one interests you more. Learning a brand new language as a beginner won't be easy, but just be persistent, and practice.

Thank you so much! Maybe I'll get into this programming thing who knows, but it's interesting so far
