That depends, what is your target- dont be like me, i was allso "i dont know i just choose one". Now, knowing that making games is my target, i have wasted time on Java and starting fresh with C#. Here is what i have found- A++ games? C++ Is it too hard but still wana make games? Go C# You wana make apps? Then Java or newer Kotlin. Interested in AI and big data? Should go Python. Web development? Then depends- front- end most used is html. For back end again java. Repair me if i said something wrong- as i said this is sumary what i found as most answers on question "what language should i learn".

Drelda You are absolutely right. But for beginner-friendly, I suggest Curious Coder to learn Python or either Java.. Or, if Curious Coder learned some syntax of C, he can consider learning C++, since it's the extended version of C.. BUT, it's not easy to learn its syntax..(not really hard though). If you're interested in making games using C++ or C#, consider getting the Unity Engine(for C#) or Unreal Engine(for C++) in your device if you have a good knowledge of one of these two.(It may be not available for mobile device..) SoloLearn doesn't teach you everything about the language you're using, it only teaches you some basic to intermediate things about that language.. So if you want to learn more, find another course from the internet .! (This is just some advice and tips for Curious Coder to make his own way to programming.)

For the basics, you should use HTML. It's mostly easy but sometimes confusing, I recommend you learning the HTML lesson
