Is anyone else encountering issues with upvote through the code playground ?

Question

I have attempted to upvote code bits on the playground, however, I am encountering an error messages stating "No connection" despite having a high speed internet connection.
The ability to upvote comments, posts appears to be functioning normally.
I would like to inquire if this issue is isolated to my experience or if it is affecting others as well

As per info, Downvote option, technically not removed for every one. But it will be removed for every one in couple of days. So it exists for some codes. And to those who are not updated yet. It's a forced update but still for some users it exist till next update.
lot of downvotes mis-using and report are the reason for this change.. hope haters, spammers won't find other ways to disturb, interrupt, mislead activities..

Ipang Use the Report option for spam and alike. As the functionality of the downvote button is removed, downvotes do no longer have any effect, even when you do not update the app. (edit: at least once the update is complete)

Don't know maybe we have to wait to get all the unnecessary downvotes removed

I know it may not be right, but I have a habit of down voting spams or flames, just to decrease the chance for others to visit the post and get triggered. Guess I can no longer do that once I too update the app :-0
Can't confirm the up vote bug now cause I haven't got the update notice (last update last week)

Ipang I've seen many cases where downvotes are necessary so ig your actions are justifiable, it for a good intent just that personally, I haven't had any reason to use them

I second what just OneiricDiver mentioned about useless comments in lessons including answers without giving explanation of answers.
Oh and I hate seeing useless, nonsense, irrelevant memes posted on learning platform 😒

Based on my observation, I have noticed that sololearn utilizes delta time to determine the time difference between consecutive like actions. If the time difference is found to be consistently small over a period of 6-10 instances, the algorithm assumes the user to be a bot and restricts them from performing further likes and the user has to wait for about 1hr.
Can someone help me to verify this assumption.

True Lisa,
Reporting has always been my second thing to do, normally. However it usually takes some time before the post gets removed from the list.
And so while waiting for the post to get removed, I just down vote the post in a hope that the next person browsing the forum would somehow get less interested to view the post, which might get the person triggered by the content.

Jayakrishna 🇮🇳 upvoting comments, posts and every other thing seems to be working fine...
But code bits isn't..I can only upvote 6-7 times per hour.. the problem is specific to code bits
I've sent feedback through the app few hours ago, I think they'd have read it.. and the downvote option is absolutely gone and I'm getting push notifications on my phone's notification bar, but it's not there if I opened the app.
I've cleared cache and re downloaded the app
I wouldn't advice you to update the app

A note on the (now outdated) downvote button for clarification:
Part of the issue was that people would (understandably) mistake the downvote option for a simple dislike button.
However, the downvote button was not intended to be used this way. According to the content creation guidelines, downvoting was eligible mostly for matters that could have been reported anyways – and this does **not** include cases of personal distaste such as disliking the background color or "Nice code!" comments.

Tasha Pauline I appreciate the suggestion that led to the removal of the downvote button and a big thanks to that individuals involved.
However, it appears that the functionality has been integrated into the upvote button, as evidenced by the decreased vote count on Sadaam Linux 's first comment and the surprising decrease in suparna's code. It's possible that the two buttons have been combined into a single, unified button too 🤔

I'm seeing duplicates of every answers on this thread.. for example, this comment is going to appear twice in the UI but the count is okay... 😬

Jayakrishna 🇮🇳 I'm quite convinced now about 99% that there is restriction on upvote, I'm allowed to upvote 6-8 times and I've got to wait for about 1-1.5 hour for the next 6 upvotes. I've tried doing it many times
I hope someone who knows much about this will give detail insight...
