Beginner of Basic Python

Where is the bug? After completing all the lessons, it is impossible to see the bug. That is like saying you did everything right because I passed the lessons and now it is wrong. I'm trying to understand this profitable system or process. If it's about getting to know people, it, makes sense. If it's about money it doesn't make sense. Money doesn't create Growth people do. God bless you 🙏👍 🌍.

Please can you show the code or lesson were you think there's a bug? Or do you mean the end of module projects? What do you mean by "it is impossible to see the bug"?

The task description asks us to write the function ourselves. If you consider the previous lesson, you'll notice that they intend us to use the "in" operator.

Dear Linda, Thank you for your response. Syntax errors? Or is it Beginner's guide to change code? It's what happens within a lot incidents when it comes to programming like that famous team that built up tic, tac, toe, as a program. I don't mind paying for courses that will teach me and progress me but a course that stops progression each time someone is doing well just becomes pointless. The question is of; project code 42. Now by going through the course and completing the lessons you realize that you must follow procedure so when you are following procedure, the next question should be follow procedure but then it is telling you to go through the entire system to find the fault. It is either telling us to follow a procedure or destabilise system. Each time if they just change the codes it becomes useless. what are they telling me to re-code SEARCH and that as a word or function it doesn't work? Line 4 undefined variable search.

I didn't encounter any issues with the code project. And I can't know what your line 4 is. If you want help with your code, please show us the code that you tried.

text = input() word = input() print(search(text, word)) The project asks this off the user; "Define the search() function, so that the given code works as expected". It would be great if we can connect with a plausible answer. In respect to the course the answer I think it asks to deliver as a result is: def search(): There is no other materials given to understand what manual should be used to provide an answer to the project.

Thank you Lisa. Sorry 😔 for the defamation. God bless you 🙏👍✌️. I'll give it a real go. If I feel it works out I'll carry on with the further lesson's to perform further tasks given to me to understand procedure's/programs that set out results for work done. Which instructs me, for a constant definitive answer. Education is to share a common way. God bless you 🙏 and thank you Lisa.
