As a lot of comments say, you can't really compare those two. One is a markup language, one is a programming language. They are different, operate in different fields, and do different things. HTML is only for web developing, often used with CSS and JS. Python operates in a lot of fields, and can also operate on the web with frameworks. You're the one who has to choose if you want to explore the web and its possibilities with HTML, or data manipulation and much more with Python

Don't ask logicless questions both are good in their fields, python's general purpose language that can get into several fields while html is basically used for web page structure and it's contents.

Html is easier for me because it has less variables and most of the tags are self explanitory or just have letters that represent words like p for paragragh. But it all depends on what your actual goal is do you want to develop an app or website.

HTML is HyperText Markup Language is not programming language which contains tags that’s easy syntax his target is making frame for webpages also you should learn CSS for styling HTML. Python is programming language with weak typization he also has easy syntax and you can prototype light programs as possible as fast. For me learn HTML is simple than Python because HTML doesnt consist declaration of variable, loops, conditions… It’s just markup language with tags. In my opinion comparing HTML and Python is bad idea because HTML is not programming language like Python.

Gaurav Yadav Python is better than anything **for very few things**. Comparing HTML and Python is like comparing a paint brush and a wrench.

Html is not a programming and it's tags are easier to learn. Since Python is a programming language it will be bit different from html, It will be easier if you have previous knowledge in any of the programming language before and it is best programming and much beginner friendly to begin your programming journey, All the best wishes, Don't give up.

I think the question should be what you truly want, instead of what is easy or hard? All it matters is getting the job done, either hard way or easy way. Learning languages, solving problems take time, dedication, passion and lot of patience. Suppose you are learning a language and you stuck in a problem. You start to think its hard its not for you, so move to another language which will make you nothing more than "Jack of all trades, master of none". So start from a language where ever you feel interested to.Then master it,do some project and move to another language. In this way you will be more motivated and may be able to stop burnout. It's marathon journey. If you are interested in web development /web design - Start from html. If you are interested in machine learning, data science - Start from python. Both of them are good in their own ways,so have your time and take your own decision. good luck...

If you are doing the exercises regularly, both are easy as opposed to both are hard. Of course HTML is the mark language especially an asset for web development and Python is a high level programming language that can be used in many areas.
