How do some people score more than 10k xp??

Question

I saw many people on the leaderboard at the end of the month havin more than 9k to 10k. How?

The solution guru badge gives 5k XP.So if someone gets this badge he gets half of 10k XP.
However, most of the time, people get XP by playing challenges. Some crazy challengers play challenges all the time. So, it's very easy for them to score more than 10k XP in a month(some people do it in a week) and even more.

Lot of ways for that.
Some peoples who do lot of challenges, complete courses, doing code coach challenges, getting upvotes for codes can get more xp.

like last month i got solution master badge and 5000xp which led me to lvl 16 and 20000xps

@Anas I don't think so. You don't get XP when you get upvote on your code but you get XP if you unlock any badges by getting upvote on your code. For example, if you get 10 codes with at least 5 upvotes each you unlock the Code Master badges and you get 500 XP.
Remember self upvoting doesn't count for unlocking badges.

Edit: In Q&A the same rules go by.
Just a little different is the "marked as best" answer option. When the asker declares an answer "marked as best" the answerer gets 10xp + he gets all the upvotes as XP.
For example, if an answer has 4 likes and the asker marked the answer best one, the answerer gets 10+4 xp=14 XP. Even in this case, self upvoting is also counted as an XP!

Mostly by playing challenges completing course and getting badges or solve code coach problem will have limit if you complete all course and coach challenges you get xp but for one time playing challenges is best it all it gives you unlimited xp(depending on amount of challenges you play)
Sometimes It sucks waiting for opponent to reply your challenges I think sololearn must do something to play challenges with computer or something which has quick resonse

1. Are self-upvotes counted in this one?
2. Does this work when question poster marks their own answer as best?
3. Is upvotes number actual number of upvotes or is it that number between the vote buttons (= upvotes - downvotes)? If it is the second case, then is the negative number added to 10 XP?
4. Is this one-time or does such answer poster receive 1 XP every time the answer gets an upvote?
