BlueStacks - not bad but sometimes laggy. Andy - simple (at least it was) but effective. Memu - has variety of options (fake gps, number, device model, etc.) + comes with root

Droid4X is quite an interesting alternative to work on. It runs in a similar fashion as Andy or Amiduos with round about the same performance and productivity as them. It is under continuous improvement with frequent upgrades and the interesting feature of it would be the add-ons. It runs on both Windows and Mac OS x platform. It runs on the machine as a guest operating system.

Nox App Player is my preferred Android emulator to play Android games, apps on PC / Computer (Windows 10 & 7,8), or to try out new android apps due to its speed. Nox App Player is fast, plus provides a lot more features than bluestacks . Bluestacks is good but it uses lot RAM .

Genymotion is the most powerful and widely used emulator. I personally use it. And it's great.

Depends on what do you want to use it for! If you want an emulator to run Android apps and games on PC, then BlueStacks is best. If you want to test your apps, then use Android Studio Emulator (2.0) or genymotion( I prefer Android studio emulator 2.0, Because it's completely free)
