Does the message compatibility varies with devices?

I couldn’t send any messages to anyone since some months through my Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos.
But now I can send messages to others through IPhone 6 Plus. Weird...

This problem appeared on May 2020 and was resolved a few months later. Since then, some devices don't get the latest update of the app, some aren't compatible to send messages. SoloLearn increased the sdk version for their app, which is now 30. Means, you can message only from android 5 and up. For iphone, I never used it so... 🤷

Genuine Stalwart , my mobile was originally 4.4 but i cheated and indamously updated it to android 5.1 xD
But maybe some apps are clever to detect this lol! Hahaha
