Nav and href

Question

What is the different between <nav> and href attributes?
I know href is used for <a href for websites, but it’s seems to me that href can do the same as <nav>.

In simple words,
nav is a bunch of a tags whereas a tags are used for
hyperlinks in which you use href attribute which is links destination

href attribute can be only used in a and base tag not in nav tag.
