Well yes, You can make an android app using python ... building apps with the language you are most comfortable with is cool... You could use kivy or beeware and package the app using buildozer, and i have made an app using python, so i can say that using python to build an app is quite easy ( especially in terms of the short lines of code)... But of course there are also disadvantages to using python... 1. Apps built using kivy do not possess a native feel compared to an app built using java... 2. Though beeware is cool and all that and it probably has more prospects than kivy, its disadvantage is that it lacks a large developer community, and beware is still under development... But my advice would be based on what i've built using python compared to using java , java turned out to be better in terms of performance, security, compatibility e.t.c that why i also decided to learn java But that's just my point of view...

udit nayyar there is NO such rule that only Mods can tell if a question is duplicate or not. And most importantly, SoloLearn has some rules for the Q&A. One of them is to search before asking a question to avoid making duplicate threads. Being a user of Pro version does NOT mean you are above these rules. Every user, even the Mods MUST follow the rules that are said in CCG and in this thread. Plz try to understand. Thanks! https://www.sololearn.com/Content-Creation-Guidelines https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/1316935/?ref=app

Yes it is feasible to develop an android application in pure python, in order to achieve this I suggest you use BeeWare, which is just a suite of python tools, that work together very well and they enable you to develop platform native applications in python.
