Other technologies besides HTML are generally used to describe a web page's appearance/presentation (CSS) or functionality/behavior (JavaScript). ➡️HTML5 is the latest one. It brings a lot of long-awaited novelties, like rounded corners, shadows, gradients, transitions or animations, as well as new layouts like multi-columns, flexible box or grid layouts.... 😉New Version New Features... I don't know much about CSS, so I'll explain via using HTML as an example. Html has many versions (HTML 5 is the latest one.) The previous versions did not have many tags that are in the newer version (eg: article, aside, canvas, etc) These tags are special tags that do not need further modification. Previous versions did not support the new tags, and in order to make a simple thing, you had to write long lines. But HTML5 has newer tags that reduces the lines. The downside is that the old tags that were used in previous versions are not supported in HTML5 (but you have better version of those old tags😁).

++༒«ᵛ ⁱ ⁿ ᵃ ʸ ᵃ ᵏ»༒++ what??

Well, probably everybody would go with a newer version because its expected to be better,HTML5 has fearures that HTML4 only dreamt about, and CSS3 is too, so there are more features and easier ways to do things, like progress bars.....

See after you release a product, you come across may ways on how to improve your product due to the input by the people who are using it. So you incorporate those improvements and release a Version 2 of the product. In the similar manner, first HTML was released and after many stages of improvements, the latest version is HTML5. Same for CSS3.

Whats tge difference between Android-5.1 and Android-6.7 ?????,,,, HTML5 is a an improved version of HTML(HTML4), and so is CSS3 an improveed version of CSS, just like PS3 and PS4.

HTML5 and CSS3 are the predecessors of HTML and CSS. They are updated versions so they have more new tags, attributes, properties and syntax.
