Installing Linux

Question

I download Linux on my pc. I wanna install Linux without Uninstalling window . When i tried to install it seems like overriding on window and i cancelled. How can i install it without using VmWare and Make Like switching account?..(Like use Linux when needed and Windows on other purposes)

Theres tutorials in youtube how to dual windows and linux, follow em step by step. I did it couple of months ago and now i have Xubuntu and W8.1. Linux is so cool.

A little note about dual O/S installation, do that before you start saving any work or important files in the storage. Installing another O/S while having important data in the storage risks you data loss.
Another option would be to have another storage for data only, so you can play around freely with the storage for system.
